“So, our match with Man United is scheduled for May 8. Fine. But ManUre wanted it rescheduled for May 7. Why might that be? Well, they don’t play a game before meeting us after April 30, so they are rested either way. But we play on May 4, a little game called the FA Cup final. So by asking to have the game moved up one day, they are simply try to keep us from getting a proper rest.
Nice try United, but it’s not going to work. The game will be played on the 8th. If it’s not, let the conspiracy theories begin!”
