2. Portugeuse Football - Bumped out of the World Cup early, and couldn’t even get one club in the Champions League.
3. Umbro - Makers of the Zyklon soccer boot. By the way, Zyklon is the name of a nerve gas the Nazis used.

“Arsenal sign Swedish keeper Shaaban
LONDON (Reuters) - Arsenal have signed Swedish goalkeeper Rami Shaaban from Djurgardens for an undisclosed fee, the English premier league club said on Friday.
Shaaban, 27, impressed on a trial with the north London club this week and has signed a long-term contract, according to a statement released by Arsenal.

I think maybe we need to consider an early season iron balls award to Edu. Here’s a young player, in what must still be to him a strange country, who Le Boss almost dumped last year. Then, due to injury crises he gets his chance in the run-in, makes a ball winning type of contribution and then finds in the off-season that we’ve bought another Brazilian who could well oust him. Yet so far he’s keeping his head up, playing with aggression and fighting to keep his place. I like his attitude and think it should be recognized.
