What’s The Matter Here?
“Once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, three times is a trend. Four times? Boys and girls, it?s time to do a little soul searching.
How could a team that a month ago would have beaten Pel?, Cruyff, Jesus and eight guys from the Real Madrid Hall of Fame, can?t now beat a team of kids that comes to school on the short bus? What the heck has happened here? Here?s my three cents:
Offense: Henry and Wiltord started the season on fire, now they couldn?t score in a whorehouse. It?s just the law of averages. They were both hot at the same time, now they are both cold. Unfortunately,...

“I’ve been given the opportunity to interview young Frankie Simek, the American defender at Arsenal as he prepares to play here in the States for the US U-20 squad in a couple of weeks. Anything you’d like to ask him? If so, drop me a line at rick@arsenalamerica.com
**UPDATE**
Just spoke to Frankie during halftime of the Dortmund game. We’re going to chat more next Thursday, so if you have questions, get them to me by next Wednesday.”
“Sorry for the late and infrequent updates, major computer issues…
Here’s a quick note from The Kentucky Gunner on today’s match:
Arsenal are currently in poor form…..Borussia Dortmund are not. They are now second in the Bundesliga and undefeated at 5-5-0. 16 goals and only 6 against, Dortmund are playing good all around football. They will be coming off a 4-1 win to Werder Bremen that saw the emergence of Brazilians Ewerthon and Dede. Add to it that this contest is in Germany where Arsenal seem never to play well and management wanting to slap the “”arrogance”"...

“Random thoughts, incredulous rebuttals and wild ramblings from The EINY…
Well, after a too long for my own good “”Patrick Vieira rest period”", yours truly has once again returned to grace the site of Arsenal America with his own “”pearls of wisdom”" on the overall past few weeks and stir up the pot of controversy around here a bit (he he he).
First off, we’ve got the following predicament of Patrick Vieira facing a 2 match ban (which 2 I’m not sure of as I’ve heard Sunderland and the scum but also Fulham and the Sunderland...

“Well, the bully finally got a punch in the nose. After roughing up all comers Arsenal has been on the receiving end, first against Everton and then Auxerre. Ok, had to happen some time, now the question is how much damage was done.
We’re one point out of first in the Premiership, so it’s not exactly game over there. We’re still in first place in our group in the Champions League, so we don’t have to hit the panic button quite yet.
The danger now could lie in teams like our next opponent, Blackburn. When you’re going for the unbeaten season every game...

“The adventures continue…
When last we saw our prehistoric hero, he was unconscious, held captive in Orchard Park, NY, by the Evil Yevgheny and his dolorous young henchwoman, Miss Prunella Face. The unlikely trio was on its way to One Bills Drive – Ralph Wilson Stadium – home of the Buffalo Bills!
On a chilly autumn morning on the Niagara Frontier, a biting wind blows across the field. The limp body of a usually vigorous guy in a dino outfit lies helplessly in the western end zone of the stadium. 80,000 empty seats stare down, forlornly.
The evil European stands...

Ken Bradley previews the next lamb offered for slaughter, Everton?
Everton brought in a new manager, David Moyes, to energize an otherwise lethargic club. A group of inexperienced and older players seemed not to work well and a new, and perhaps unorthodox approach, was needed. Moyes brought in an...
