Apparently Sir Alex wasn’t happy with the result on Saturday:
Manchester United have refused to deny reports that David Beckham was left needing stitches in a head wound after being accidentally struck by a boot kicked by an allegedly apoplectic Sir Alex Ferguson.
According to today’s Sun, Beckham sustained the injury as Ferguson - famously feared for his hair-trigger temperament - blew his top following Saturday’s 2-0 FA Cup defeat by Arsenal at Old Trafford.
