Today March the 31st marks the 2nd anniversary of the
untimely passing of a true Highbury legend who
departed this earth way too early and his presence
will be missed by all of us who were fortunate to
watch his skills on the pitch wearing the #7 while
playing for the Arsenal on his back. Long may David
“Rocky” Rocastle’s memory linger in all of us. “Oooh
Rocky Rocky… Rocky Rocky Rocky Rocky Rocastle…..”

Michael Owen, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Thierry Henry are standing before God at the throne of Heaven.
God looks and them and says; “before granting you a place at my side, I must first ask you what you believe in.”
Addressing Michael Owen first he asks, “what do you believe?”

The vote right now is 2-1 in favor of following the Arsenal. I must say I’m a bit surprised. Not passing judgement on folks, just thought there would be more people following the war. With no games this weekend there isn’t a lot to speak about, so new content is a bit sparse. Things should ramp up again by midweek.

The (well-deserved) Chelsea bashing continues…
Two Chelsea fans are walking along, One of them picks up a mirror, looks in it, and says ? Hey, I know that bloke?
The second one picks it up and says ?of course you do, you thick ***** - it?s me!?

I notice you are asking members to vote on ?Who are you following most at the moment??
War always concentrates the mind but football and the team you support can play a huge part in your destiny.
In 1914, British and German soldiers on the Western Front played a game of football in No Man?s Land on Xmas Day. Recently, in Afghanistan and Kosovo, matches have been played between locals and liberating forces.

It’s been awhile since we’ve done one of these. No one more deserving than this crew…
1. Emanuel Petit - Called the Gunners win “lucky”.
2. Marcell Desailly - Said Chelsea would win and Arsenal will get no trophies this year.
3. Peter Osgood - Chelsea has-been calls for injury to Jeffers.
4. Chelsea fans - Throw objects at Henry, again.
5. Chelsea FC - The whole lot of you are wankers.

Here are some choice words from a guy who has won exactly jack-squat at club level since leaving…oh that’s right, since leaving us…
Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit has aimed a shot at his former club by branding Arsenal’s FA Cup replay win “lucky”.
The Gunners ran out 3-1 winners from Tuesday’s quarter-final replay at Stamford Bridge after absorbing heavy Chelsea pressure and hitting their London rivals on the break.

I think we have set a record for number of appearances in a season on the telly out here. If according to Dan Winkler’s information we are on every weekend from now until the end of the season…..Arsenal will have been on EVERY WEEKEND this season out here except for the away games at Charlton and Fulham. I’m also taking into account any midweek domestic games as well as I remember FSW covering the 5-2 demolition of WBA and 2-1 defeat of Man City early on. That must be something that even the manure can’t even match. Finally Arsenal are getting the coverage that they...

Ok, I finally read the comments by Peter Osgood. Basically he rips FJ9 as a cheat and a diver, then suggests that he would like to see Jeffers get injured. Classy stuff from a guy I’d never heard of before. (Rick)
Further to an interview broadcast with Peter Osgood this morning, Arsenal striker Francis Jeffers has made the following comments:
“I have been made aware of Peter Osgood’s outrageous comments. As an ex-pro he has a responsibility to the game as a whole.
“Perhaps he’s trying too hard to justify his existence as a controversial pundit.
“I...

An outstanding effort Jason…
Submitted by Jason Waldman (HIS COMMENTS IN ALL CAPS)
‘I’ve lost all my faith in Enic.’ Not Spurs, or Glenn Hoddle, but Enic. (HAVING FAITH IN SPURS IS LIKE HAVING FAITH IN CONGRESS)
As Leeds and Aston Villa fans can testify, blaming the board is scarcely unique, but a Tottenham fan’s reaction to the defeat to West Ham was indicative of the atmosphere at White Hart Lane. (YOU MEAN THE GUY WAS DEAD?)
