I was listening to a re-airing of World Soccer Weekly on the internet of the shoe which eminated from Nevada Smith’s last Monday, where I heard in an interview with the owner of NS that someone called Graham is designing another American Arsenal website. Can somebody provide further information about this?

– Editor’s note —

Grahame is a big time Gooner and a mate of Arsenal America. We support his efforts.

Here?s a delusion Spurs fan who needs a big bite of a reality sandwich. As always, my comments IN ALL CAPS…

John Nicholson ? A very Northern mind (http://www.football365.com/)

There is only one big football story this summer. (SPURS NOT WINNING ANYTHING DOESN?T QUALIFY AS A BIG STORY ANYMORE)
Forget the Beckham soap opera. Forget Chelski down at Stalingrad Bridge. No, it’s nothing to do with Harry Kewell or Ronaldinho’s teeth. No, the only story this summer is the rapid...

After discussions between the NY Gooners and Nevada Smiths we are pleased to be able to announce that the Rangers v Arsenal friendly will be shown there live at 2.45pm on Tuesday, August 5th.

If you’re in the New York area, come down and help us get up to speed before the season begins!!!

Cheers,
Grahame.

You’ll recall a couple of months back I got all geeked up over an Arsenal PC video game. I even mentioned they had a ‘Be In The Game’ contest. Here’s the latest from the boys over at Just Football who produce the Arsenal Club Manager game:

Greetings from a wet and windy UK!

The be in the game promotion is still running, we currently have 350 registrations from Arsenal fans, not bad but compare that to 2000 from Chelsea, this is entirely down to Chelsea actually running the news piece on their own website.

We now have a separate opportunity, one I’ll...

http://www.soccervideos.com finally has a NTSC version of the 02-03 season review available for order. It is only available on VHS, unlike ManUre who are offering US compatable DVDs. Hopefully Arsenal will broaden their horizons and get with the program, but in the meantime we can at least enjoy this tape. The tape is $19.95 US, and they charge $5.95 for shipping.

I’m in a very positive place right now concerning Arsenal. I know I’ve mentioned that recently, but I wanted to expand upon it a bit…

Arsenal XI 2006

Let?s just say that we can?t go out and by a single player over the next three years. Let?s also say that all our current regular big time first-teamers all decided to retire together at the end of the 2004-05 season (just humour me). Here?s what we could be looking at to open the new stadium:

According to a news article written on soccernet.com, it looks like we will not be making any more summer signings and that Lehmann was our only move. Arsene has warned us not to expect any more than what we already have and that priority #1 is to sign PV4 to a new deal.

He’s sent up the BBC’s Robbo. He’s sent up Sports Illustrated’s Steve Rushin. He’s sent up Rocket J. Squirrel. So to speak. He’s even sent up arsenal.com’s own Frank Butts. Now it’s the EINY’s turn to receive some good-natured ribbing from G. Rex.

What with the impending close to the close season’s impending arrival and not having filed a report in several weeks and with a plethora of run-on sentences figuratively bursting from my fingertips even with the severely sparse usage of “Our Friend Mr Comma,”...

was it just me or did Club America actually outplay the northern scum for most of the first. Pity they couldn’t finish their chances off though. Had just one of those had gone in who knows what would’ve happened. But then typical jammy United score twice in two minutes at the start of the second half to kill the contest, however why the ref disallowed the ‘goal’ America scored from the free-kick is beyond me as I’ve seen similar incidents been given in the EPL. Maybe it’s part of the agreement the manure have with the sponsors of this tournament…anything...

I was sitting next to one of the hosts (Steven Cohen) of the World Soccer Weekly at the manure match at the Coliseum before he and his co-host Nick Geiber jet off to New York to do their radio phone-in show LIVE from Nevada Smith’s on Monday 28th July. Steven asked me just to remind you NY based Gooners that he and Nick would definitely like to see you all down there if you have no other plans.
