Never heard of this team myself, but I went onto their site to get the score. Apparently we gave them a 2-0 lead midway through the first-half with goals from Sebasta after 19 mins and El Senosy after 25 mins. Don’t know what was said by AW at half-time, but we came fighting back in the second half with Cygan pulling a goal back for us on the hour and then Ljungberg (WE LOVE YOU FREDDIE BECAUSE YOU GOT RED HAIR) equalising five minutes from the end.

AW said nothing at half-time, he wasn’t there. Pat Rice took charge of the team. Cygan gave away both goals. Keown has been quoted in the press as saying “Senderos has the potential to be the new Tony Adams”. High praise indeed, but let’s wait and see. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were after him, but he chose us. Anything is an improvement on Cygan and Stepanovs?
