According to a news article written on soccernet.com, it looks like we will not be making any more summer signings and that Lehmann was our only move. Arsene has warned us not to expect any more than what we already have and that priority #1 is to sign PV4 to a new deal.

I have a comment…
why?! why would we stand pat with everyone else signing players…
we are going to get buried in the CL because of our defensive shortcomings… just like we do every year… and thats unacceptable with the current crop of offensive talent.
If I were Viera / Pires … I’d be hesitant to sign a long term deal, knowing we are NOT making any attempt to get better and advance in the biggest tournament of all… The Champions League.
