Be In The Game

You’ll recall a couple of months back I got all geeked up over an Arsenal PC video game. I even mentioned they had a ‘Be In The Game’ contest. Here’s the latest from the boys over at Just Football who produce the Arsenal Club Manager game:

Greetings from a wet and windy UK!

The be in the game promotion is still running, we currently have 350 registrations from Arsenal fans, not bad but compare that to 2000 from Chelsea, this is entirely down to Chelsea actually running the news piece on their own website.

We now have a separate opportunity, one I’ll think you’ll love, we are giving the fans the chance to get their picture in the game, they get to star as a fan reporter, we have space for around 300 fans to feature in this way, we are currently staging “be a reporter in the game” days at the clubs, unfortunately we could not arrange such a day with Arsenal.

If you have any fans who would like to feature in the Arsenal game, all we need is a good quality digital image.

Ok, ArseAmers, send in those digital images to andrew@arsenalamerica.com and we’ll send them along.

2002-03 Season Review available on NTSC

http://www.soccervideos.com finally has a NTSC version of the 02-03 season review available for order. It is only available on VHS, unlike ManUre who are offering US compatable DVDs. Hopefully Arsenal will broaden their horizons and get with the program, but in the meantime we can at least enjoy this tape. The tape is $19.95 US, and they charge $5.95 for shipping.

Bring On The Future!

I’m in a very positive place right now concerning Arsenal. I know I’ve mentioned that recently, but I wanted to expand upon it a bit…

Arsenal XI 2006

Let?s just say that we can?t go out and by a single player over the next three years. Let?s also say that all our current regular big time first-teamers all decided to retire together at the end of the 2004-05 season (just humour me). Here?s what we could be looking at to open the new stadium:
