Missed both Tuesday’s and yesterday’s airings of the show. Can someone tell me what happened please?
I e-mailed this to Rick a while ago, but thought I’d put it on here. World Soccer Weekly hosts Nick Geiber and Steven Cohen will be doing their radio show LIVE from Nevada Smith’s this coming Monday, and would very much like to see the NY Gooners out in force there. For those who don’t know World Soccer Weekly is phone-in radio show where the fans can voice their own opinions. To find out more about the show, log onto http://www.worldsoccerweekly.com. So if you have nothing better to do pop on down and say hello to Nick and Steven....

Never heard of this team myself, but I went onto their site to get the score. Apparently we gave them a 2-0 lead midway through the first-half with goals from Sebasta after 19 mins and El Senosy after 25 mins. Don’t know what was said by AW at half-time, but we came fighting back in the second half with Cygan pulling a goal back for us on the hour and then Ljungberg (WE LOVE YOU FREDDIE BECAUSE YOU GOT RED HAIR) equalising five minutes from the end.
It looks as though we will sign a new keeper, Jens Lehmann from Borussia Dortmund. This should be a decent move since he should have big game experience, even in Champions League. He is 33 years old and should be our stopper for a couple years. The thing that worries me is that he was sent off 2 times last season, but he could bring some fire to the club. It is not a done deal but it looks pretty close. Does anyone else have any info on him? Also from soccernet.com and the Daily Express it looks like PV4’s deal is stalling because of his agent, not him.

About time we had a decent shirt. (Kitbag is taking pre-orders)This one is almost a ringer for the 1979 cup final shirt. (The last one I bought and still have). Arsenal and Nike have TH14 re-enacting Charlie’s goal from the ‘71 final, but it should really be Alan sunderland’s fist clenched, eyes closed run back to the half way line.
It’s also great to go back to a plain yellow, no fancy chevrons or flashes, just a nice basic design. Well done Nike and...

thanks for all the kind postings, very nice and much appreciated…DB10 stays, good stuff…Maybe I’ve missed it, who is the big name that Man United have brought in to replace Becks?…Canizares - I’m a big fan, but at 33 I see him as a 1 or 2 year stop gap until Taylor can take over for a decade (fingers crossed)…two pre-season games so far and we are 0-1-1, time to hit the panic button?
Just went onto soccerTV.com and found the following announcement………

Just a fortnight away for this.
I was very relieved to read on soccernet.com that Dennis Bergkamp has agreed to a one-year deal with us. It seems as though all of us, myself included, were making a big deal out of nothing because he says the negotiations went very well. I am very glad to see him return to Highbury though.
