Spurs: Look out, they?ve got Bobby Convey. Still crap.
Chelsea: Look out, they?ve got gobs of dosh! Still crap.
Liverpool: Look out, they?ve got Harry Kewell. Still crap.
Newcastle United: Look out, they?ve got Woodgate and Bowyer. Still crap.
Man United: No Beckham, no Veron, but they?ve got Tim Howard. Still crap.

ummmmmm… errrrrrr….
this is a joke…right?!
Spurts have actually signed a few players…
they are still worthless… but they’re trying to get better…
Chelsea are downright scary… they have more depth than anyone in the EPL… the question is… can they gel as a team… is so… watch out!
Liverpool… or hooferpool….. have definitely gotten better with the acquisition of Kewell… I’d have loved to see him in Arsenal colors… and they were already solid at the back…
Newcastle…. bought another racist thug in Bowyer… but… he is actually a decent footballer… as we have actually looked him over…
and United… have looked fantastic in their matches here in the US…. and if they use some of their LARGE amount of $$$ they got for Beckham and Veron to buy a great defender… such as Puyol as is rumored… then we are fekked!!!!!!!
on the other hand…
we have done f-all to sure up an already leaky defense… have let Luhzny and Seaman walk… and let Volz go on loan??? (thought he was cover for Lauren…??)
we will get shredded at the back in the CL…again!
so… while I can’t wait to see the ball being kicked around for real!!!!!!!!!! and see our amazing forwards and midfield take apart the EPL… I am extremely dissapointed that everybody appears to have gotten better… and we haven’t done shit!
here is hoping Arsene’ knows better… and that the youngsters can step up…..and that neither Sol Ash or Keown go down for any extended period of time… because if they do… we’ll be struggling to get into next year’s CL…
I hope Arsenal make me look like a babbling idiot… and win the league easy……. just don’t see it right now!!!!!!

Speaking of crap… Ranieri calls Veron “the best midfielder in the world.”
Um… I realize it’s been a mindfuck of an off-season for you Claudio, what with going from nearly unemployed to Russian mob conspirator with unlimited cash… but seriously, “best” in “the world”? We’re talking about the same Veron, right? The guy from Argentina with the bald head, yeah? And the same world? The one we call Earth? The one where football players are judged upon their proven skill and past performances, yes?
Then why say you’re “sure” he’ll play better for your squad than he did for the mancs. So you’re saying the “best” in the “world” was shit for two seasons, but you’ll be able to bring him around?

Chelski are hoping they can buy a title a la Anaheim Angels or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers…but there’s never any guarantees. And Veron? Puh-leese. From being the cause of Fergie going apeshit towards the press to being sold. Add a crappy World Cup and yup, he’s reeeealllly valuable.
Interesting to note 2 articles I read today on FoxSportsWorld.com: One noted how lost Kewell seems to be right now in Liverpool. The other…had a great quote from Man Utd’s official suport site in frustration over losing Becks and Veron with nobody to replace them. Something to the effect of:
“Arsenal may not have exactly strengthened their squad, but they definitely have not weakened it.” No kidding.
