I thought that this was interesting. Pay particular attention to which club he mentions at the end of the article!

Title Looks Beyond Us: Gerrard

Steven Gerrard has admitted that Liverpool are unlikely to win the Premiership title. (AS IT WOULD REQUIRE ACTUALLY SCORING EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE)

And the England midfielder is already concentrating more on a top four finish to ensure a return to the Champions League. (WHERE THEY COULD PULL A NEWCASTLE AND GO OUT TO A TEAM WHOSE NAME THEY CAN’T EVEN PRONOUNCE)

Liverpool have taken just two points from their first three Premiership games (THEY COULDN’T SCORE ON SP*RS!) and are already seven points behind both champions Manchester United and Arsenal. (OBVIOUSLY, THE WRITER’S NOT A SCOUSER, SINCE HE WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THAT 9-2=7)

Gerrard and his team-mates are looking for their first win of the campaign against Everton on Saturday (HINT: IF YOU ONLY PLAY WITH TEN, EVERTON ROLLS OVER) and the midfielder feels a first Premiership title in 14 years could be beyond Liverpool.

‘You do not want to be one point behind Arsenal (DAMN RIGHT!), let alone seven,’ Gerrard told Liverpool’s official website.

‘You do not want to give anyone a start like that. But we will get it right, I do not know about the title but we must have Champions League football back here.’ (THEY DON’T WANT THEIR UNDERACHIEVEMENT CONFINED JUST TO ENGLAND)

Hysterical! They should just pack it in! Well, they won’t be walking alone with the rest of the EPL beneath Arsenal in the standings.
