So, we now sit in third in the group. A win against Dinamo Kyiv would lift us to second. All is not lost. Yet.

Actually fourth (on goal difference). But all is not lost as you say.

I’m a bit disappointed in the tie, I was wishing for a win, but it could have been a loss. If anyone saw the Inter game, tell me you would have to be short of complete blindess to NOT see that hand ball with the first Inter goal. If the game wasn’t so close maybe I wouldn’t complain, but I’d feel better if that game was a draw as well.

By all accounts we should’ve won. Pires missing easy opportunity in the second half with just the keeper to beat. All though it’s going to be a bit more difficult to qualify, Inter did do us a favour by beating Kiev. So all is not lost. Just have to pick up 3 points in the Ukraine in three weeks time.

Not a bad result but after the loss to Inter we need to do something special. I think we’ll need a win in Kiev or Milan as well as winning our remaining home games. Tough but not impossible.
