Sol Campbell has been given a ?20,00 fine for this “kick” against Djemba Djemba and told to watch his behaviour.
Kolo Toure has been given a revised and extended contract until 2007.

thats DOUBLE good news in my opine!
no loss of Sol for matches… and we REALLY need him back there…
and… Kolo had been a revelation on defense…
he has really stepped in and played well…
obviously, he is versatile… and a physical presence…
now if we can just slay Chelsea… !

Another bit of good news in case anybody missed it, Pennant figured largely in Leeds’ win this past weekend, playing a part in both goals.
If we have to endure another cash-strapped summer next year, having him come back with solid first-team experience should be a major boost.

Does anyone know what’s happening with Pennant? I thought the loan was only for two months but I’ve heard nothing about his return to Arsenal.

It has been commonly posted elsewhere that he’s due back after the Leeds-ManUre game next weekend. Don’t know if it’s true or not.
