Former Guner Steve Morrow has been named and Assistant Coach of the Dallas Burn, but on the down side of it, he has been forced to retire.
On 3rd Degree(http://www.3rddegree.net/index.htm) reports “I won’t be playing in the last two games,” the veteran defender said, “and I will be retiring at the end of the season. It is a tough decision to make, but doctors have told me I would need to get fusion surgery on my neck to attempt to continue playing and that is not something I want to do. I thought about it and it’s just not something I want to do. It’s a quality of life issue.”
Good Luck Steve, you are a class act on and off the pitch.
