As you may know those of us that live out here in the U.S. get two EPL games shown on Sundays. The LIVE game at 11am EST/8am PST is the one that Sky Sports shows as its main match of the weekend. This is then followed at 2pm EST/11am PST by a taped delayed broadcast of the match that was played earlier that same day. Now as you probably know when one watches the LIVE game Ian Darke who provides the commentary always gives away the score of the earlier game before it’s shown out here, which basically ruins it for me to watch the second game as I would prefer not to hear the result so that I can enjoy watching the match as if it were the LIVE game as well. What makes it even worse is that Fox Sports now actually includes the result at half-time when they give out the scores of all the weekend matches!
Next week as you know our match at Charlton will be the 2pm EST/11am PST taped delayed match after the LIVE game between the scum and Boro’. My dilemma is how to avoid hearing the result before I get to see the game. Because between Ian Darke, Fox Sports and possibly the P.A. announcer at Shite Fart Lane…..I’m in a no win position next week as it’s conceivable that one (if not all) of these three parties will give out the score from The Valley before I see the actual match:(

Um, why waste your time watching Spurs-Boro?

if you really must watch sp*rs, tape it and watch the arsenal game as it would be live and then watch the scum later…and by later i mean never.

If you have to watch the scum, turn the volume down.
