Hello ArseAmers, I?m here in not so sunny Lisbon, Portugal. Tomorrow is the final draw for Euro 2004. I’ll be speaking with media from all over Europe today and I will be sure to ask the English ones all about Arsenal.
Big game game against Fulham this weekend. With the race this close all games are important. I’ll be interested to see what happens between Chelsea and Man United. We’re rooting for a draw, right?

Sunday is a big day in the Premiership with Chelsea hosting ManU and Arsenal hosting Fulham. Since ManU or Chelsea or both will drop points it’s an opportunity for Arsenal to extend their lead at the top of the table.
We’re still without Lauren for this one so Cygan will probably play again but this shouldn’t be a problem given his good performances in the last 2 games.
More of a concern is the possibility that Henry will not play. He got a slight injury in the Inter game and was about to be substituted just before he scored his second goal. The news is that...

The Fulham of season 2001-02 had all the pieces to go to Europe and qualified for the InterToto Cup. The Fulham of 2002-03 had the same pieces but were either uninspirable or lost faith in manager Tigana’s approach. Tigana quit and Chris Coleman, a former Fulham player, became manager. Coleman is the youngest manager in the Premiership and had no managerial experience. So would the Fulham of 2003-04 respond to an unproven manager? So far the answer is a resounding, Yes!

Ok gang, it appears we only have 10 million in the kitty, so before we make offers on Kluivert and van der Vaart (Mexes isn’t in the game!?!?) we’ll need to sell some folks. This was the first Arsenal game I have been able to watch live all year seeing as though I do not get Fox Sports World on Comcast, so I would finally like to contribute a game review. All I have to say is what a brilliant game it was. Henry was absolutely magnificent and the defense played a very stellar game.

In an absolute must-win game, without Lauren, DB10, Wiltord or Keown, Arsenal put together an remarkable performance.
It was closer than it looked, then in the last 10 minutes the floodgates opened for three goals.
Henry bags two, Ljungberg scores again as does Pires and Edu adds one as well.
Right now the Arsenal are rigth there with anybody else in Europe.
Pushed to the wall by injuries and suspensions; facing European death straight in the face, Le Boss and the boys have strapped on a huge pair and done what needed to be done. Bravo!

Ok, gang, I’ve received the latest edition of Arsenal Club Manager, thanks to the folks at JustFootball.
You may recall that I loved last year’s version, so I’m very excited to play it this time around.
Not only does the game have our newest players (Lehmann, Clichy, etc.), but when you search for players to buy, you’ll find Rick Liebling! In fact, there are a bunch of Arsenal fans built into the game. Pretty cool.
Anyway, this time I want us to play as a group. So, I will post...

Great victory yesterday. Birmingham are not chumps and the team absolutely took care of business.
This could easily have been one of those games from last season where we coasted with a 1-nil lead and gave up a late equaliser. Instead we continued to pressure and got two late goals.
Freddie seems to be coming around in scoring form again, grabbing another goal. DB10 and Pires also on the score sheet.
