Was it just me or did anyone else experience the blackout that happened during the Spertz game this morning when DirecTV lost the feed 10 minutes into the match for about five minutes. One minute TH14 was heading towards the scum goal, then all off a sudden a blank screen with music playing in the background! It would be nice to actually watch an EPL game without DirecTV, Setanta, Fox Sports World, ESPN or anyone else who covers the matches ballsing things up for us!

You weren’t alone. We were confused the first minute , annoyed by the music the second, and just plain angry minutes 3-5. As soon as found the bill to call the clowns, the feed came back on. You pay $16 for a game and they still can’t do things right.

Got the same. I had a houseful of people. More bacon Sarnies then you can wave a stick at.Just as I got through it came back. Not a Dicky Bird of apology. Typical.

Had no problems, fortunately living up here in Canada the EPL games are on Free TV (Sportsnet on Saturdays). If you have Fox Sports World Canada, you can catch the EPL games on Sunday. I guess Sportsnet paid for the rights to show these games . . . great for us Canadians!
Of course, for FA Cup games, we have to pay like our good neighbours to the south - usually Setanta which I can’t stand. Why oh why do they not show the half time show if it’s on Sky or BBC?
Oh well, we’re actually better off than those living in the UK, you can’t even watch the games on free tv - you only get to see the highlights show on Sky.

Oh GODDAMMIT, in all the excitement of a) the THREAD about the damn game b) my prediction as posted in the news item above this one coming true, I frickin forgot to tape the game tonight!
