Latest news on the Volz situation is that it seems he will not be recalled from Fulham as cover for Lauren.It seems that Wenger will use Cygan instead.
The Birmingham game was always going to be tough but now we’re missing Vieira, Parlour and Lauren due to suspension and Gilberto because he won’t get back from Brasil until Friday.
A win will be an amazing result and I think I’d be happy with a draw.

According to this story at Soccernet.com, which cites an unnamed source at Leeds, Jermaine Pennant was arrested in connection with an incident that has already led to Leeds player Jody Morris being charged with rape. Apparently Pennant is free on bail pending “further inquiries.”

My parents just got back from a recent excursion to Ireland. They traveled throughout the rural areas and visited a number of pubs in small villages. While at a particular pub they found about 30 locals watching the tele and commenting on the CL match between our Arsenal and Moscow. My parents do not follow the Arsenal much but due to my love they thought they would sit and watch. In the 88th minute the Arsenal score to win and my mother jumps up and begins to cheer. …is a polite description of what I’m listening to at the moment. What I’m hearing is a non-stop, breathless, word marathon by two total morons. The fact that they support Chelsea, a club rich in the tradition of winning nothing, is neither here nor there. They know nothing about football. The only reason I tuned in was to hear Frank McClintock, but unfortunately he had to cancel because his wife is ill.
These two Chelsea whiners are complete wankers, and I’m done listening to them.

Just because Steven Cohen is a misguided chap who supports a club that last won the League during the Eisenhower administration, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t like him.
