At the airport ready to sign off.
A pretty good trip, though I think all of us expected to win in a rout rather than a nailbiter. I’m pleased some of our first-timers to Highbury had a great experience, and also the support from Kelvin and Jeff in London also made this trip even more special. Jill Smith came through in a big way with the visit of Frankie Simek and Danny Karbasiyoon. Also kudos to Rick who helped set that up, even though he was off in New York (yet again–maybe next year).
We’ll monitor the spring schedule to see if we can arrange another trip in a few months, but don’t get your hopes up. Given the lead time necessary for arranging these events, and the highly “fluid” nature of the schedule in the Spring, it’s really hard to plan something like this before next year. Still, we’re always on the lookout for an opportunity.
Time to get going. London signing off.
Toasting the victory at the T-Bird.
The hard core post-game crowd tries to shut down the T-bird.

I enjoyed every minute of the trip, despite being sick with a cold the whole time. Now that I’m back in sunny California, I wanted to thank Andrew, Jill, Kelvin and all of the gooners who made the trip. It was a special experience for me.

Fantastic Trip . . . I’ve been back to reality busy at work so I haven’t had a chance to talk about my experience. It was great meeting the fellow ArsenalAmericans . . . Perfect trip . . . 2 wins . . . hey, I think we could start a stat . . . Arsenal unbeaten when ArsenalAmerica comes to Highbury on a roadtrip!!!
