I don’t even recall the score or details, nor do I care. Just seemed like a great opportunity to run this photo…

They went 1-0 up after 60 seconds through Sicknote and conceded a goal four minutes from time to finish tied at 1-1. They were 4-3 up on penalties and missed their next two allowing the Boro’ to win 5-4 and thus play us in the semis:)lol
I reckon had the Spurtz won we could’ve turned them over good and proper by playing our youth team against them.

Well I am ecstatic at your young stars showing their stuff in this competition… and they’ve got the rest of the league quaking in their boots at the thought of our 2nd team winning this minnows cup!
if you have the chance to win a trophy… you go for it… we’ve made it to the Semi-Finals v.Boro…
and play a home and away with them… obviously we keep playing some of the youngsters… and whoever is on the bench the match before… plays as well….. (see: KANU / Wiltord / Keown / Parlour)
nice showing boys! bring it on home!!!

And, it’s also good to note that Chelsea got dumped out as well, 2-1 to Aston Villa. So it’s a double dip of good (mis)fortune today.
As always, there’s only one team in London!

Mark my words stag, you can be rest assured that when the semi-finals roll around next month, Monsieur Wenger will have the likes of Henry, Pires, Ljungberg, Bergkamp and co making their debuts in this mickey mouse tournament as we are now only two games away from another trip to Cardiff with a passport to Europe add along with another cup to add to the Highbury trophy cabinet

Come on, Rick. Do you really need a reason to run that photo? That’s one that can brighten any document! I sometimes put it in PoerPoint presentations, just for giggles.
