Bolton drew level in the 83rd as we leave two points on the table. To be fair, they pretty much played us off the pitch in the first half. But we took the lead in the 57th through a Pires clean up.
Yes, we are still undefeated in the League, a tremendous accomplishment. But at some point the focus will turn from sero losses to too many draws.

Coming in to the season I think most of us felt that our biggest areas to address were Goalie, central defenders and strike support for Thierry Henry. I think Arsene has done a creditable job on the first two; Lehman-’nuff said? Kolo has developed into an excellent central or flanking defender, and Cygan has performed well in the past several weeks too and looks dependable. With Keown in reserve in case of injury I think we look fairly solid at the back - certainly in the middle at the back.
But the help for Henry remains essentially unaddressed. I think he is going through one of those patches all players have (Inter game notwithstanding), and until he snaps out of it we are finding goals hard to come by. Sylvain is out of favor, Kanu is peripheral, forget Jeffers or Pennant and Dennis is not the goal-scoring force he once was.
No need to panic - yet. But three draws out of our last four Premiership games is not going to win the league. The January transfer window may be crucial for Arsenal, but not just from the buying point of view. Maybe we can unload some of the players who are out of favor and are making a marginal contribution, and garner some funds to splash out on a proven striker. I’ve been a fan of Kluivert, although I agree with other fans who say he’s a headcase and could be a risk to the balance of the team. Anyway, I’m not even sure he’s available. That said, I can’t readily think who could help at a price Arsenal can afford. Maybe Arsene knows, and just maybe the answer lies in getting more goals out of the midfielders already on our books. Interesting, perhaps difficult, times immediately ahead?

they outplayed us…
I kept thinking that BOLTON has a pretty good team… and they do….. but thats the type of game we have to win…
I don’t know who played WELL for us…
there were alot of OK performances… and I think its time Kanu gets a chance… why NOT bring him on… or even Wiltord… they have proven to score some big goals in their time here at Highbury… we have them at our disposal… attempt something!!!!!!!! we were not attacking well…
I keep thinking that 3 ties is the same as 1 win and 2 losses… we don’t go for the win often enough… thats my opinion… OPEN IT UP!!!!!!!
