Arsenal 3 - 0 Wolves It may be a new year but it’s same old spurs - the Sun’s match report
Dec 27

While it certainly is a team effort, let’s give a round of applause to Jens Lehmann. In case you haven’t noticed, the Arsenal have allowed the fewest League goals in the EPL, and have six clean sheets in 18 games (1 in 3).

Gee, a relatively unknown foreigner comes to Arsenal — on the cheap — and performs really well, what are the chances? Oh, about 88%.

Arsene knows.

The guy’s great. I think I also worte this on the boards, but I don’t remember us being scored on from a set piece all season, which is tremendous. This means that when he organizes the defense, it’s pretty difficult to score on. IMO, it’s another sign of a great ‘keeper who communicates well with the defense.

Yeah, Jens is doing great in the Arsenal squad! He has made a great postive impression behind the back four. I think out of ManUre and Poverty-stricken Chelski Jens has the most clean sheets. Despite his outstanding Arsenal performances his chances for Germany’s number 1 goalkeeper spot by Olivier Kahn. Hopefully, he’ll reclame his position at Germany before Euro the ‘04 Finals in Portugal.Keep up (or keep out) the outstanding job in the net.
