Things are going really well at present, lots of scandal about Man Utd, talk of bungs and law suits etc, not to mention the drug test saga that just won’t go away. Did I mention both of our close rivals dropping points of late? Yeah, its hard not to smile when the media start on others for a change!
On top of that we have the word that work is being resumed at the Grove, so it looks like our finances are being taken care of as well. Oh yes,and instead of raiding West Ham for their” want away” striker…as predicted in most of the tabloids, Arsene has signed another gem. This guy has the combination of youth, skill and determination to really shine in Premier League. I am one of those people that think that this signing does not signal the departure of TH to Chelsea or anywhere else come to that. This is a positive move, not one step forward, one step back!
Speculation has been rife of late, but when has that not been the case? We’ve be linked with dozens of players but all those media hacks have been left with egg on their collective faces yet again. Few thought we had the finances to make a serious bid, for obvious reasons. I’m very happy with the way Arsenal conduct their transfers, that’s to say discretion goes a long way with me.
Things are looking up for us gooners. A few out of contract players might be leaving us soon but along with Reyes, we have a wealth of young talent knocking on the first team door. Smile if you’re a gooner, there’s plenty to smile about these days!

I can’t imagine Thierry Henry going anywhere, at any price. I don’t believe we are a “selling team”.
I shudder at the thought. Certainly high times at the Arsenal!!

Reyes will be a good addition. I really hope the talk about Henry is just rumors as we’ve all heard before. Last year Wenger was off to Real Madrid - until it’s confirmed, I wouldn’t believe it.

Including Reyes in this tie would certainly make things interesting. Like you I’m not sure when he’ll be available. Maybe he’ll be on the bench against City on Sunday.

No one is sure about this but I can see his first game for Arsenal is a week on Tuesday at home to Southampton.
Ban for the City game and depending on when the FA/FIFA receives all the paper work which makes it the CC or Wolves game but can see him making his debut at Highbury first.

All rumors start this way, but I read yesterday in the Arsenal website that his suspension would be most likely served during the ManCity match, meaning he would be go for the Carling Cup. . . makes for an interesting decision
