Wiltord expects to be gone
Am I correct in saying that with his contract out, we won’t get anything for him? He’s 29 years old, and despite what many of the fans think, he certainly has some value to someone.
It seems a shame that we won’t recoup any of our investment (at least not financially, he played well for us during his time here).

He claims he is now fully fit. If that is the case, with our shortage of strikers, he needs to play! He will likely be here till the end of the year. I’d take him over the likes of Franny Jeffers any day!

With Reyes and Henry upfront, there is still a need for strong back-up players. Bergkamp will probably be gone soon and most of the others are just not as strong. It would be nice to see him stick around, but if it’s about playing time, I can understand why he’d want to go back to France. I just hope that they also decide to pass Jeffers along to someone else.
