It’s almost midnight out here in rain drenched California, and after watching a taped re-run of yesterday’s fine 2-1 win at the Kremlin I’ve just realised that everything that has happened over these last two days has been Arsenal orientated. I’ll explain……

Not only did we win 2-1 for the third time against the cockney cossacks from SW6, but…….

The manure screwed their chances of catching us when they let a Leeds player who has the same name as a former Arsenal striker (Alan Smith) score against them.

That’s not the only coincidence as Liverpool were knocked out of the cup by Portsmouth by a former Arsenal apprentice (Richard Hughes).

So as you can see Feb 21st/22nd was definitely Arsenal orientated.
