Two goals in the first five minutes (Henry and Pires) were enough to hold off Charlton. I believe Man U drew as well (it was tied late). If so, the lead would be nine.

Number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9…
A bit of a scare, but lots of chances left begging as well. The strongest 11? Maybe. Looks like Arsene has put his hat in the ring on the Gilberto/Edu issue. Would have loved to see Reyes’ strike find its way into the net for the effective decider, but close, close, close was the order of the day, favoring the Arsenal in the closing minutes.
