Quite a week for some of the top teams in England. Let?s review, shall we?:
We?ll start with defending champion Manchester United. Not their best week. Another violent conduct charge and skipper Keane ripped into his teammates for a lack of commitment. Sir Alex Ferguson looked at the calendar and saw that it was time to start the ?mind games,? so he stepped up to the mic, and with the English press hanging on his every word he informed them that Arsenal might falter under the burden of an unbeaten season.

Like most men 80% of my thought processes are either Sex or Football. Now considering my good lady was in San Diego attending a teachers convention. Number 1 seemed out of the question so football it is.
This is how I found myself at 1.20 this morning laying in bed thinking of the lesson in Football we had given Chelsea and our chances of winning the league. Now like most Gooners I?m as pessimistic as they come. But I think we?ve got a good chance this year. All right?s with the world I thought.

How hard it must be to be a spurs fan. The fact that the sky is the limit for us, the Great Gunners while Spurs on the other hand never fail to show signs why they will never be a team to reckon with, that must be a huge nut to swallow for the coldspurs fans.

Has anyone here been following what our #1, Jens Lehmann, is like when he’s not in our strip?
Lately he’s been in a jockeying-for-position feud with German captain and icon Olver Kahn, feeling he’s in a better position to be Germany’s keeper at Euro 2004.

Richard Hughes late in the second half puts one past Chris Kirkland, thus sending us to the South Coast and setting us up for another case of “twice in one week” between FA Cup and League fixtures. With as many times as we’ve had this happen to us this season (Middlesbrough, Chelsea and now Portsmouth), you’d think the Premiership was becoming the NBA and MLB, all these “series”…

Tragic News for all Arsenal Fans, and some good news too!
Just when you thought our finances were secure, one of the leading football experts in the country has recently announced the End of the World for Arsenal Football Club. This expert, who has been knighted for his services to the football world, stated that he would hate to think that anything like that would happen to a club with such a history and tradition… as Arsenal. He said that many clubs were teetering on the brink of financial disaster and that he took no pleasure from the demise of Leeds United.

Yeah. There is a phrase in the English language that describes the relationship between Chelsea and Arsenal. It’s on the tip of my tongue, what is it again? Oh yeah, now I remember:
Chelsea is Arsenal’s bitch.
I’m working on a full editorial for later, but the general gist is a look at our two main rivals this season. Clearly nothing has been decided yet, but it’s a matter of club culture, class and heart and who has it and who doesn’t.
Big win today and a tip of the cap to Leeds who worked a draw at the Theater of maniacal rants and straw...

…when a good plan comes together. Of course, an ideal result would have been for Sir Alex’s men to come away with nothing, but Smith should be toasted in pubs all across the world for his equalizer. And as for the Arsenal, one can almost set their watch by the way they beat Chelsea. One down, and in this case waaaaay too early, and then a quick combo a few minutes later. Can’t wait for the pictures.
Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea
ManU 1-1 Leeds
Anyone have any info from Stamford Bridge? Did they fire Ranieri right on the field or are they going to wait for them to...

Amongst all the furor over the silly mind games that Fergie and his pathetic captain are indulging in, it would appear that this bit of information seems to have been completely ignored.
Arsenal are officially the #1 club in the word ahead of Real, AC Milan and ManU. The ranking is by Fox Sports World and you can read this article on their website.
Keep it up Gunners.
Ed. Note — In other Arsenal news, the reserves ran out 2-0 winners earlier this week and Frank Simek played...

Is it just me, or do Sore Alex’s mind games just make you lads laugh your bollocks off to? Calling the Arsenal’s undefeated streak a “heavy burden” is laughable! I’m sure he’d love to have a “burden” such as that. Too bad for him though, all he has is that nutter Keano on a leash, in a sort of Dr. Frankenstein-and-Igor relationship. How can anyone take this man seriously, especially as his nose is an ever-darkening purple tinge to it. Maybe the bloody supply to his head is being cut off?
