I saw this interesting article on soccernet.com after we beat Charlton and beat them silly.
Ed. Note - It’s one man’s take on how to beat Arsenal. Pretty well thought out, but as the writer points out, it’s easier to say than to do.

This article reminds me of something my father (who knows almost nothing about football much less Arsenal) said. When watching the highlights of a game, he mentioned that unlike other teams including ManU and Chelsea, Arsenal always seemed to have someone exactly in the right place to exploit a mistake by the opposition. I guess this is the same thing that the ?10 ways to defeat Arsenal? is saying: The way to defeat the Gunners is to not make a mistake and hope.
Oh, and I LOVE number 9!

When somebody write an article like that, you know that you are being respected. Especially, the last 2 points virtually tells you that: you need luck and hope Arsenal has an off day.
This actually reminded me that, during Michael Jordan’s era in Chicago Bulls, especially in 1996, where they won a record 72 wins in the regular season, I read very similar articles :”How to beat Chicago Bulls”. There are points like “Don’t provoke Michael Jordan”, “hope Michael Jordan has an off night” …. That just showed respect.
And, Arsenal, has that respect from the world now.
