Would like to point out one aspect of our game which has seen us improved admirably this season - our disciplinary record.
Over the years, the media has been keen to remind the world of our “poor” disciplinary record, made a meal of it from every red card we collected. Mr. Ferguson even went further to suggest we were a “dirty” side.
One thing I always insist - we are by no means a dirty side. Most of the red cards we collected were a result of retaliation, which were triggered by the “cheap shot experts” who made it a mission to wind our players up from the first minute they stepped onto the pitch. “If you can’t outplay them, kick them” is their mission statement. And there are no bigger cheap shot experts than Mr. Ferguson’s Manchester United. Just watch what Van Nistelrooy, Scholes, Butt, Nevilles will do on the up coming Sunday match, as they always did to us at the past.
Credit to our boys, ever since the Old Trafford clash, which got the media protraying us as nothing but a bunch of disgraceful evils, we have cleaned up our act and adapted a more professional approach to the matches. Has anyone being sent off since?
Our discplinary record in the Champions League this season has been even more remarkable. I don’t have the record book with me, but I believe we have only collected one yellow card so far by Edu, which wasn’t the result from a foul either (Edu was booked when he took off his shirt celebrating the goal after he scored against Inter).
Whisper it quietly, we may even end up winning the Fair Play Award from FIFA come the end of the season!! Now tell us we are DIRTY, Mr. Ferguson!

Just another way we’ve come to set the standard this season.
And just what the devil was Desailley trying to do by handling that throw from Lehmann? No easier way to tear a rotator cuff and cut short a career if it goes all wrong. Lehmann would have been justified in breathing actual fire after that one, but his temper still held.
Add to tall that the prevelant fouling by the Blues, and we should need no further incentive to send them back to Stamford with a few red kits for their lockers.

We Gunners weren’t bad boy. Never and ever! We have been provoked by those bunch of dirty Red Devils. At least our Mr.Cool, Mr.Wenger didn’t swear in front of million of the television viewers like the way Ferguson always does. You should give your title a change to “Old man turned nasty!”
I am so proud of our boys, they upset, they learned and they picked up the mistakes they made last season and they polished their skill and they played well this season. I would say last season’s colorful cards we received, make our boys tougher than ever and anyone else. Viva Arsenal!!
