Birmingham City v. Arsenal Preview

Ken Bradley previews Saturday’s match…

The need to go undefeated in the league had passed me by. I was happy with just the trophy. After winning the trophy at White Hart Lane as the Spurs fans applauded their teams efforts, and those of the referee, it seemed to cheapen the experience. Therefore, I want terribly to set a record and win the trophy without a loss. So lace up the boots, or Sambas in my case, and get ready for an opponent who should be a big threat towards this goal……Birmingham City.

Donations and Dutchmen

First, a big thank you for those members who showed their generosity by making a donation to Arsenal America. It is a reminder that all the effort is appreciated and an incentive to continue to make the site better for the members. If you haven’t yet dropped a dollar in the tip jar, please take a moment to do so. Thanks very much.

Thanks For A Terrific Season

As we approach the close of a fantastic season, here?s a big thank you to all our members for making this such a great site. Wonderful contributions from regulars like the Kentucky Gunner, Ken Bradley, and the dozens of others make this a unique place for supporters of the Arsenal to share viewpoints, make friendships and debate the merits of the finest club in England. We may not always agree with each other, but I hope you all enjoy the opportunity to share your views with the rest of Arsenal America.

As most of you know, we?ve grown quite a bit over the last several months. This has meant a huge increase in the labor involved in running the site. Responding to emails, editing submissions, creating new content, working with Jill Smith, producing the banner, coordinating the trip to Highbury (God bless you, Webmaster Andrew) have all become major endeavors.

One of the founding principles of Arsenal America is that we wouldn?t charge membership fees. We still hold to that, but at this time we ask if you would kindly make a contribution. If you enjoy coming here for the commentary, news, rumours and general fun, please take a moment to make a donation (see Paypal link on the right). Your generosity is appreciated.
