What a year to visit highbury! If any of you are lucky enough to see a game, please remember you are blessed to see a great team. Show them how proud you are yell your head off. Lose you voice - enjoy. Through the thick & thin with Dignity.
Gooners love their team & the sport. I have been a Gooner all my life it runs in my Blood @ 70 I still get the same thrill or sadness. As as kid I remember getting a wack on the ear for using a 4 letter word because a lady was about 10 yds away.
Yes friends we are GOONERS not hooligans a bit fanatical. But who would not be with a team like ours.We owe it to the team that worked so hard for us to keep SUPPORTING them.

Ronnie, let me say for myself-at LEAST-it is an honor to read your posts much as it would be to meet you. YOU are what football, being a supporter, and being a Gooner are all about. We are truly blessed to have your unique perspective on all of this and what it all means. You have seen the best and worst of Football and of Arsenal and yet you support your club as eagerly as when you first did as a lad-something MANY supporters, I would even daresay myself, could learn from. It is good to have you hear and your opinions and experience they serve this Group very wll indeed, and continue enjoying this amazing season as it unfolds and More History is made atop History…

Ronnie, you are the bomb man. It’s great someone who’s been there as a fan for 6 decades can grace our site.

Kudos to you! Hopefully one day I’ll be saying the same to another generation of die-hard, all-weather supporters. Perhaps it’ll be here, eh Rick?
