Well I turn not to believe these stories but as you mentioned I heard if Liverpool dont get into the CL next season S Gerrard will leave and Arsenal is one the clubs on his plate.
But this is the time of year for these kind of stoires. The media have to sell they papers with fictions at times..

The Sun is reporting the Terry and Gerrard rumor, and other sites are speaking of a ?15 million cash fund for new signings.
We should start a most outrageous rumor list.

How about Tottenham to sign Wenger?

the last thing this team needs now, with 4 games to go… to remain undefeated… is to have all these rumors flying around about who is coming in next season for the Arsenal.
Usually Silly-Season doesn’t start until AFTER the FA Cup… starting early this year, I guess.

The Totts just signed Henry and Sol with Vieira going back for medical.
Dont believe the hype. Rumours sells papers with only Euro 2004 to look forward to. I enjoy reading some of the names put forward..

Van Persie is one thing…
to say Terry, who’ll be playing in the CL semi’s for Chelsea next week and fighting for 2nd place in the league….
and… Gerrard, who will also be fighting for Liverpool’s CL life is ridiculous…
Let’s not waste the time and space on this… until maybe Mid May… when we are bored!

Why don’t we make a run for Leeds United star Alan Smith? From the games I’ve seen this year of him he has been outstanding and is a superb finisher. If Leeds are relegated, I think we should make a run at him rather than Gerrard. He is also English so we could have more domestic talent on the side. Anyone with me?

I’m with you, I suggested this months ago. Alan Smith would come cheap as well. But let’s get Gerrard as well.

looks like teh dutch kid is a done deal. my 1st question, where does that leave bentley. anyone figure whos on the way out? gerrard has no chance of making it here, he aint that good, terry is not going to be for sale, he’s too valuable for them, and mr smith is a liability. he’ll do fine @ bolton or somesuch, perhaps charlton will take him in
