What the heck does Alan Sugar know about success? Arsenal’s Unbeaten Stars Actually Aliens from Outer Space

Arsenal have offered 24 millions Euros for Morientes? Sounds doubtful to me, here’s the report from AFP.

Not only does it seem like a lot of money, it also is out of character for Wenger. Not to say Morientes isn’t a good player, he is, but he is older than most Wenger pick ups and not in the same mold.

Now the wire is reporting that he’s due to sign for Chelsea. This makes more sense…..Abramobitch spending 25^6 Euros for a 28 year old.

    Yes.. Back in Town.

I’m just going to be nice to Rick and some of my fans and say OK. Morientes Who!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont write the cheques but this story have no legs and dont think even the Totts will sign him. Have you watch the guy play.

Morientes is no good “in my books” and his agent and RM are trying to cash in on him.

I didn’t believe this for a second. Who would he be replacing? A younger player with comparable skill who exactly fits into Wenger’s style for less money? Nonsense.

I suspect that there will be a number of players trying to make desperate twilight career moves leaking “interest” from The Arsenal. The stamp of Wenger certainly raises one’s stock.

Have the Spurs put out a press release saying they almost signed him?
