We all know that Arsene Wenger is a tremendous manager. But which gaffers were pure crap this season? Oh, so many to choose from. When thinking about this I took into account a number of factors: Coaches experience, quality of players, budget and expectations. So, here is my list of the five worst coaching jobs this season:

1. Gerard Houllier, Liverpool ? How does this guy still have a job? They had plenty of talent ? Owen, Gerrard, Hyypia ? and they brought in the likes of Harry Kewell and yet they still can?t do better than fighting for fourth place.

Ed. Note - Got this several days ago, sorry for the late posting…

I actually touched on this in a response to love_gunners piece mooting the idea of Ronaldinho for Arsenal, but I am finding this sudden, I’m not sure what to call it -aggravation, anger- with Thierry Henry for sulking and openly displaying frustration with himself, with referees and with teammates and seeking to see this a sign of some impending disaster at the club, quite annoying.

There are supporters suggesting Henry is too arrogant, too selfish, and too petulant for the team now. They say Henry hates...

It’s that time of year again when Arsenal America members vote for their end of season awards. First up, the ArseAm Unsung Hero of the Year Award.

This one goes to the player who maybe didn’t get the publicity and the accolades, but made a big contribution to the club. This will be particularly difficult as Arsenal are:

A - Full of stars
B - Most players received tons of accolades

So, will have to be a little loose with our definitions here. Below will be my nominations with a brief explanation, voting booth on your right.

Little Jennie was in her new class when teacher asked the children what their father’s job was. One was a fireman, one a policeman, one worked in an office etc.

At last it was Jennie’s turn, she seemed shy, but gently persuaded by her teacher she finallly said “my dad’s an exotic dancer in a gay bar and takes off all his clothes in front of other men.”

The teacher, a little surprised by what the girl had said, quickly set the other children to work on some painting and took little Jennie aside.

“Is that really true?” she asked. “Well,...

I can find nowhere a cable carrier that is showing Saturday’s game. History in the making likely to never be repeated, Cup celebration and all, and its apparently not as important as the final fledgling efforts on display in the Pool/Toon and Villa/ManU games.

A sad day at ArseAm. We’ve come all this way, and are denied at the finish line. Will someone out there please tell me that I’ve missed something?

Arrrgggghhhh!

AC Milan ‘keeper Christian Abbiati has told skysports that his agent has been talking with Arsenal. This raises the question, what should we do with Lehmann and his many costly blunders?

I would love your input, should we keep Lehmann, should Arsenal sell him, and if they sell him,who to buy?

Frank Simek, the American Gunner, will be featured on “Made in America-U.S. Players in the EPL” which will air at 8pm eastern of Fox Sports World Tuesday, May 11.

Frank emailed us to let us know that his back is still bothering him a bit and that he is headed home soon for the summer. Be sure to check out the show, for many it will be your first time to see the only American to play for the Arsenal first team (Frank played in a Carling Cup match this year).

I didn’t think that it was possible, but I now have found even more respect for the Gunners. Arsenal break the mould when it comes to big clubs. After having sub-par seasons, other big clubs throw money at the problem, hoping that would rectify it. Chelsea are the obvious example; but also United, with the FA Cup their last hope of winning a trophy, they will give Ferguson a 50 million pound war-chest to go out and buy whomever he deems stupid enough to wear that ghastly uniform. But what they don’t seem to realize is that going out and bringing in a plethora of new players breaks...

Ed. Note - Please remember, these are the views of one individual. No need to get nasty in your responses…

Nobody is perfect. I have been defending Henry all season long whenever any critic emerged directing comment towards our star striker. And I was gutted when he lost out the FIFA World Player of the Year award to Zidane. He’s without a single doubt my choice of the BEST player in the world at the moment.

Nevertheless, Thierry’s display against Fulham on Sunday was “unacceptable”. On the wake of making history, to become the first team going...
