Okay, okay so there’s still business to be done at Loftus Road and home to Leicester City, but of course the papers are already talking about who’s coming to Arsenal and who’s going. Everyone and their Beckham has been linked with a move to the newly crowned champions…
Fulham Preview
Let’s face it, when we last saw Fulham it was our XI against Edwin Van Der Sar. Shot after shot was kept out by the keeper and as the match progressed it was obvious we would not score. Van Der Sar has since appeared more human but the Gunners have too. It sets up a possible repeat as the Gunners need only the point to keep the record going and Fulham look to simply get a point on the Champs.
One love_Gunner’s recent article has triggered a hot debate on who’s a better player: Ronaldinho or Henry?
I was surprised to read many fellow Gooners went for the vote of Ronaldinho instead of our very own Theirry Henry.
First of all, let’s define the word “Best”. If we are talking about skills, there are plenty of players who have a better skill than Thierry, players like Ronaldo, Figo.
No matter how anyone who related to Chelsea would like to suggest otherwise, let’s face it: after spending 118 million pounds, the only thing in their sugar daddy’s mind when he took over was trying to win trophies IMMEDIATELY. That means THIS SEASON.
Some of the Stamford Bridge faithfuls and the sudden-turned-Chelsea-”supporters” had been talking like they had already owned the Champions League title when they beat us to the semi, and found both AC Milan and Real Madrid were also out.
(Ed. Note - Couple of things here. First, let’s not kill this poster for putting Ronaldinho on par or even slightly above TH14. It’s just one man’s opinion. His point, that the bucktoothed Brazilian is something special is well taken. Second, I see no way Arsenal could sign him.)
Please guys, I hope some for you take the time to read this post first before you post any comment. I want a good debate here and no crap argument for the sake of writing.

Again, not the prettiest of performances but a determined showing. Arsenal controlled a good portion of the possesion and put enough pressure on Pompey to secure the draw.
Arsenal are cruising to the finish line more than racing to it, but they continue to get the job done.
Thanks once again to those who have made generous contributions to Arsenal America over the last week. If you haven’t done so, please take a moment to drop some loose change in the virtual hat.

In reality, I don’t see we can afford a quality English talent, yet in a fantasy world, I would like to see us getting Steven Gerrard.
With Roy Keane’s age starting to catch up with him, the way I see it, Gerrard will be the only one capable to match up with Paddy at the battle of the central midfield in the Premiership.
Edu was finally called up to play for the Brazillian National Team last week. When I was at Highbury last month I mentioned that I thought it would be great for Edu to play on the National Team of Brazil. Many of the fans I spoke with felt that it would be better if the players didn’t play on their National Teams. To me it seems a bit selfish to think that you would want to deny a player the opportunity of his life for the better of the club.
I’m curious what your opinions are on this subject.
With survival in the Premiership assured, Pompey can now look to next year. Nothing really to play for right now but pride, the Gunners will enter Fratton Park for a mid week match. Fratton Park has been good to Pompey as they they have secured 30 out of a possible 45 points at home. Perhaps the only positive this season.
Ed. Note - In a world of instant gratification and what have you done for me today, Arsenal should be applauded for going the route of continuity. Here’s a member with a story of how well that can pay off…
For a team to play as one like our Gunners is a terrific achievment. In the 60s I coached little league U S football, I knew nothing about the game but as a dad I know kids. We lost every game but 1 for 4 yrs but my families & boys stayed together.
We played as a team, learnt together & our 5th year we went unbeaten and unscored on. Now I get that thrill...
