Just a note to those on the waiting list for tickets and season ticket membership that the deadline for joining the new membership scheme (and paying your ? to Arsenal) is fast approaching. They have to be received by July 2, 2004, so those of you in the states might want to hurry down to the Post Office ASAP.

I think Spurs has made a perfect choice for manager in this upcoming season. For a team that splashes out too much money for shite players (Helder “I only score by mistake” Postiga), what can be better than a manager that doesn’t know how to use his players so that they can play at their best ability level? Its somewhat difficult for me to imagine having been introduced to anything so spectacular, or “craptacular”, in my youth like a hometown sports team, and watch as their hard-earned grandeur catches the hearts and minds of others far, far away. England had it coming, hadn’t they? After losing to France, they blew it in an almost similiar fashion - sitting back and dropping too deep after taking the lead.
I read an article from former Nottingham Forest lengendary coach Brian Clough, he predicted England wouldn’t go far as they simply didn’t possess the same technical ability as their more gifted European opponents.
