Something silly, yet not unexciting happened to me today…my Robert Pires song was chosen as one of the runner-ups on Arsenal.com.
On the outside chance that anyone is curious, its the “Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean” offering.
Its hardly news, but it made me feel just one degree closer to my beloved Gunners. I actually sent them two. The one that didn’t get picked was my idea of a wind-up on the opposition when they accuse Bobby of diving, sung to the tune of the very French sounding Beatles song, “Michelle, My Bell”:

Is it too early to say, COME ON GUNNERS!?!

Sometimes i imagine ArsenalAmerica were like a pub, where sometimes we wanna come, where everybody knows our names…! Then Rick must be the pub owner/bar tender, with Stag, Scott and myself keeps dropping by being the regular, even during the late hours, when everybody has gone home… Though it’s a bit quiet, we all have faith when tomorrow the happy hours start, all the familiar faces will re-emerge again!
