Shortly after the Leeds game in 2003 that set us off on our way to a historic run, one of my cousins gave me an Arsenal key ring as a present.. Another of my buddies, a manure fan, gave me this other key ring, and I linked the 2 of them up? What is the relevance of this, you ask? Well, I was fooling around with it 2 days before the manure match and it slipped and broke!!! And lo and behold, we lost our unbeaten run! Funnily enough, it was the part given by my manure buddy that broke?

I said before: it appeared the only moment in a match we look beatable is from set-pieces. I don’t want to repeat the examples which I made at the past. What I hope is - after this draw with Southampton, Wenger would really take a long hard look at the videos of the games of the past in which we conceded goals from set-pieces, and find ways to improve it as soon as possible.

With Man U continued to prove that they can’t win without the 12th man [the man in black in the past, or in green, red whatever these days, you know who I'm talking about], it’s such a shame...

Looks like alot of Hollywood celebrities are catching the Arsenal fever now.

First there was Michael (Fahrenheit 9/11) Moore seen wearing a Gunners baseball cap.

Then Kevin Costner hires a helicopter to take him to our game at Villa last season.

Next we see TH14 at a Knicks game with his best mate director Spike Lee who looked pretty nifty in an Arsenal away shirt.

Then round about the 60 minute mark of today’s match with Southampton on Fox Sports World, the cameras pan onto Demi Moore whose sitting in the East Stand.

Two questions come to mind……....

Ed. Note - This is now a tad old, but ScottyUS took the time to put together a well reasoned submission, so here’s some Sunday reading for you…

Arsenal 0 ? 2 Old Style English Football.

We were never going to get it together on Sunday. I had that feeling from kickoff. I knew we were going to be beaten and bruised, and fail to live up to our brand of spirited and beautiful football because, for the most part, we don’t have Plan B: kick ‘em back.

Why? Wenger refuses to “lower his standards” and endanger his players by allowing them to resort...

Down 2-1 to Southampton with 5 minutes to go, it didn’t look good. R. van Persie gets the equaliser with about 20 seconds left.

Cesc was brought on at the 6-5 minute mark, score 0-0. Arsenal score two goals once he is on the pitch. Loyal readers have heard me say it before, I’ll say it again: Cesc = Goals. He is quickly making himself one of the most influential, important players on this team.

Arsenal missed a penalty and once again could have scored several goals late, but let the opportunities slip away.

I don’t know how prevalent the slang “ain’t” is in the conversations around the world but it’s part of Kentucky’s everyday vernacular. Used for the contraction, isn’t, it was also the new nickname of the New Orlean Saints. The Saints of the American NFL were so bad in the 1980’s that their fans began to wear paper bags on their heads and referred to their club as the “New Orlean Aints”. Southampton is so bad that I can see the practice being ressurected across the pond.

The ArseAm content has been intense so for the members lack...

This week the Boston Red Sox won the World Series for the first time since dinosaurs roamed the earth. Are there any lessons in their victory that might apply to the Gunners and their quest to win the Champions League and to take control of football in England? Let?s take a look:

For starters, the Sox had to overcome a long-time rival with tons of money, high-priced free agents and a tradition of winning. Sound like any football clubs you know? How did they beat the Yankees? First they fell way, way behind, losing the first three of a best of seven series. There?s a lesson there ? even...

This is in response Rick’s previous article. A very interesting point offered by our host. Personally, I would love to have Wenger to be our manager forever! But in reality it’s not possible. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not proposing who should replace Wenger, but it would be an interesting thought to talk about the successor, even just on paper!

For me, I would perfer our next manager to have an Arsenal ROOT, that would make me feel more ARSENAL! Ideally move Wenger onto the board, and let him to play a consultant role for the new manager.

Ed. Note - As always, I ask that you remember some things before posting your responses. One of the great things about Arsenal America is that everyone can have their say. You don’t get just one viewpoint. The other thing to remember is even if you disagree, please do so civily and intelligently. With that, I give you…

Before the game on Sunday Peter Hill-Wood made a very important statement about how sorry he felt about what happened last season. With that in mind, I expected Wenger to show leadership at least not emotions. People talk about passion and pride but what went...

I was listenning to Rodney Marsh the other day on Your on Sky Sports and he made an excellent point which I totally agree with. He said that 10 years ago Man U were the team to beat and Arsenal weren’t really and now Man U looked like they had won a trophy when they beat us. Same thing goes for Chelsea, when they beat us in the champions league poor Ranieri cried like a baby, and the looks on Wayne Bridge and Hasselbaink said it all.

I know SAF will not agree but deep inside he knows it’s true.
