For those who have forgotten, we are now one month away from our Third Annual Roadtrip to Highbury. This year we will have nearly 30 seats somehwere in the North Bank (not sure where) for the Birmingham City and Rossenborg games. Thanks to the help of some Arsenal fans in London, we will likely have five people attending the Chelsea game that next Sunday.
We will be teaming up with Arsenal Malta on Friday before the game to take a tour of Highbury with Jill Smith of the Arsenal Supporter’s Club. We’ll also probably send a few over there on Wednesday as we’ll be having two tours this year (sadly, the trophies are on a tour of Hong Kong during that week).
And unlike prior years, this time we’ll be able to catch a reserve game as the Arsenal young ones take on Spurs up at Barnet. Danny K. should be in action, and Frankie Simek may be back from his loan to QPR.
If there are any fans in London with a spare to Birmingham or Rossenborg, feel free to let us know as we have heard from one or two people who might actually want yet another ticket.
More details to follow, including pub locations where you can meet up with your ArsenalAmerican colleagues before the game.

Months ago I thought it might be a match with nothing to play for, but suddenly the Rosenborg game looks like it’ll be huge…
Can’t wait!!

We usually announce it here and on bigsoccer.com
This year we reached our quota in about a week, so you might want to check the site at least that often for updates.

Andrew
Can you post a list of names of who is coming so that us London based Gooners can then try and put names to faces?

I spoke to Andrew in Hong Kong as I left the ground on Saturday. I’ve told him that downstairs at TBird has been reserved for all ArseAm members coming over and any London based gooners wishing to join us.
The TBird banner has been found and will hopefuilly hang next to the ArseAm flag again.
Hopefully the Americans can stay drinking longer than the Canadians this time.
More details nearer the time.

Haha I’m pretty sure we American can, and now will, stay drinking longer than the Canucks. I know full well in advance I only expect to be totally sober for about a total of 10 hours maybe during the entire trip, and that’s perfectly fine with me.
