KASABIAN branded Manchester United as a “Profit-Making Company” in the latest issue of 442, and rightly so. No doubt, they have MARKETED their team well. Nowadays, every boy and girl, cat and dog would been seen wearing a Man U shirt down the street, they know who is David Beckham, they know who is Ronaldo, van Nistelrooy… Yet when being asked do you know which club Bryan Robson played for when he was a player, “Middlesbrough” was the answer.

On why Arsenal refused traveling to US or Far East to make some quick bucks in recent years, guess the answer is...

Hello all you guys from across the pond.

Today (31st) is the 4th anniversary of the sad passing of David Rocastle, a legend at our club who died at the early age of 33, and one who, somewhat rarely these days, is still universally loved by fans of all football clubs the length and breadth of britain.

To my knowledge, David never received a testimonial, and I for one would love nothing more than to be able to pay my respects to a player i grew up watching and being enthralled by.

What will the arsenal side look like at the start of next season? I think there were some excellent points raised in a recent article. So how much should we change after a so called dissapointing season? Ok first a reality check how diss was this season anyways, well if we win the FA cup and manage to scrape a 2nd place in the league i think it would be a decent season.

There has been a lot written recently regarding Arsenal?s season. Ofcourse, I am not happy with the way things have gone. However, my biggest frustration year in year out is not with the team itself but is with being able to watch Arsenal games. Why?

Interesting article in a very good, new publication called European Business.

In their March issue they have a special feature on football and they take a look at who might be the next Beckham, (no, not the mediocre player, the marketing juggernaut).

It was an interesting list of 11 players, none older than 20. Two clubs each had two players on the list. Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo both made it. And?

Iker Casillas is talking up a possible move to the Premiership and Manchester United. I say we do everything humanly possible to make sure he comes to the ARSENAL.

It’s never easy supporting anything at all. Be it a cause, human rights, or a football club. Because being a supporter has to do with passion. By this, please distinguish a “fan”. Cos fans are only there when the going’s good. I tell those friends of mine who are Man Utd fans that Arsenal supporters never shut up. If Arsenal lose a game, we don’t run and hide. We step right up to you. So what if you beat us? Try shutting us up. It can never happen. We go toe-to-toe with clubs with 100 times our annual budget, and hold our own. It infuriates them that this “tiny”...

I agree with a point Paul made, yet many of us have failed to see - It’s much EASIER for Vieira to decide to leave in the past summer, rather than stay. Why? ‘Cos he knew what he’s going to face when he decided to STAY. When things go wrong, he would be the first one to be made the scapegoat. And things been going exactly that way.

When he was struggling to regain his form mid way of the season, people couldn’t wait to jump onto his back, saying that he’s “lazy”, he’s “no longer the player he once was”, his heart was no...

Am I the only one who remains ultra-concerned about Wenger’s continued lack of urgency to improve Arsenal’s squad, or is he simply bluffing us all?

In the last week we have heard Wenger say that he will not buy new players to replace the likes of Clichey, Senderos, and Fabregas. However, in the past week we have also heard concerned rumbles from the likes of Vieira and Henry at the imbalance between young and old players at the club. In my opinion, Wenger seems to be pinning unrealistic expectations on his youth players.

On top of this, the squad appears to be somehwat...

I posted a somewhat lighthearted article the other day, (Now that I’ve got my long term contract, I’d like a transfer!) and I must say that my attitude has changed a tad since then. All of this talk in the press for days on end, speculating about Reyes, Reyes being quoted as fancying a move to Madrid, etc… leads me to think– what the f*ck? Haven’t we learned to live in the now? If a player is contracted to a club until 2008, then why do we speculate where he will be in the next transfer window? I’ll tell you where he should be, AT THE SAME BLOODY CLUB!!...
