God I love this photo. This poor lass is grieving the Spurs Carling Cup final loss from a few years back.
No real reason to run this other than we play Spurs on Monday. I may just run this photo every day until then.

I’ve always wondered what the story was behind her, Rick. I just assumed she was crying cause she was on the worst blind date in the history of the world.
The guy tells her they’re going to a big match, not knowing him or his interests all that well, she says okay. Then he meets her at the tube stop, tells her to put on the replica and forces her to watch the pathetic display on the field. On top of it all, she’s forced to stand through most of it. And then, the clincher…he puts his arm around her.
Look at her. She looks like she’s been violated. She’s awful young to be such and avid fan, so the tears have to be from something else. And we all know what that is. The pain of sitting with Spurtz fans, and sore, sore feet.
