The chances of me being sympathetic for the manure are as remote as Tottnumb winning the league or Pamela Anderson knocking on my door and asking me out on a date, but I’m now find myself in this situation after reading reports of yet another meeting between someone from Chelsea and a player from another team on a “so called” chance meeting out of the blue (no pun intended here).
After last year’s 5-4 win over Spurs, Mourinho took some shots at Arsenal along the lines that Arsenal had a “disgraceful defense” and such high scores were only to be found in Hockey games.
Hmm. But what is so special about Chelsea’s so called great defense?
One thing I don?t understand about football these days; they tend to dump any player who is over 30. Even if this player plays like he is 27, the clubs tend to treat him poorly. It is okay to look for younger players, but with the Bosman rule, this player might leave you after his contract expires, which is normally when he is at his playing peak.

As you may notice in the coming days, the link for “Premier ArsenalAmerica” membership will be coming down. It’s a membership paid each season, and as we draw this season to a close, so too are we ending new subscriptions. OK so we cut the lead on Chelsea down to 11 points, and people are still earmarking them as champions elect because they need only eight points from their remaining games to clinch the title. After seeing who they have left to play I still reckon we can pip them to the title if we can continue our recent improved form. Right now the table reads as thus….
……………….PL………………….PTS
1. CHELSEA…..32 …………………..81
2. ARSENAL…..32…………………..70...

Ok hotshots, you think you know so much about football, well, we’ll see about that.
I’m currently playing FIFA 2005 on my Xbox and I’ve got an epic Champions League matchup against Chelsea coming up. First, a bit of background.
EA’s FIFA games are just about the only games I’m play. They always look and play great. So, I playing in career mode. In this mode you are the manager (I’ve called myself Arsene Wenger) and you can’t just start by managing Arsenal or Real Madrid. You have to work your way up. So, in season one I managed Celtic....

About 18 months ago a story did the rounds that Roman Abramovich wanted to buy Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira.
The press speculated that the amount offered was 80 million, and that certain members of the board seriously considered it because at that time the financing of the stadium had not yet been finalised.
A very interesting piece of information came my way on Friday, regarding the full extent of Roman Abramovich’s approach.
That is a tricky one. Young Sendros looks like a promising prospect, yet he’s inexperienced. And as young player always does - they could put on a few decent games, yet there is also a chance they would turn up with some inconsistent performance in a season long fixtures.
A while ago, a few people suggested Man Utd were the side looked more likely to clinch the second place of the league. Arsenal has proved that lately, if you have faith to spare, it’s better to put it into your own team.
Quietly and efficiently our Gunners have climbed up the table, winning six games in a row, keeping six clean sheets in the last seven matches. All that we achieved with an injury-hit squad.

Somebody might want to let Man U know that the season hasn’t ended yet. They go down today to Norwich, you know, the team we crushed last week.
That’s 1 point from the last 6 for Fergie’s bunch. I guess having come in third twice already during the Wenger era, they are used to it. Arsenal on the other hand are playing like they have pride, spirit and a desire to uphold the high standards they have set for themselves.
Forget the Champions League repercussions, a second place finish would mark the first time Arsenal has finished above Man U two seasons in a row...
