Ok, the negativity around here has been thick enough to cut with a knife, and I’ve certainly been guilty of that.
Today the Arsenal face Bolton in a do or die game with the club’s best chance for silverware this season on the line.
Quite honestly, the final result isn’t as important to me as the effort. I’ll be just as proud to support Arsenal tomorrow, win or lose, as I am today if the effort is there. It’s been a tough year and maybe it just wasn’t meant to be for the team in 2005-06. If so, well, we’ve had plenty of good, we have to live with the bad too.
But if the effort, the passion, the energy are not there, well then the club will have let us down. I believe the players, and the manager, have it in them to turn in a great performance today. I think they can rise up and show what they are made of. It’s not going to be an easy match, Arsenal will have to fight for every inch of the pitch, but in my heart I believe they can do it.
Please, don’t let us down.
Up the Arse!

Well we might just see a full hearted performance seeing that most of the seniors and/or regulars are suspended and or injured.
I hope Arsenal wins I don’t care whether its a fluke goal or a spectacular goal just as long as Arsenal have scored more goals than Bolton I will be happy.
With Keown and Bould now part of the Gunners coaching set up lets start by bringing back “One-Nil to the Arsenal!!!!”……

Common Gunners!! If it is true that the team will be filled with youngsters then I think it is possible for us to win.Youngsters are very arrogant. They have the you hit me i hit you back mentality. So I think they will be up for the physical side of Bolton… COMMON YOUNG GUNNERS!!!

Hmmm…I’m pretty immature then cause I still have that mentality. In fact, I could say I’ve sharpened my retaliatory instincts to a fine, serrated, edge.
I’m insulted when I’ve been beat. The only thing that takes away the pain is to get one back. Let’s hope, somewhere deep in these young millionaires’ minds they still have that primitive drive.

You can listen to Charlton v Leyton Orient at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/tv_and_radio/radio/weekend_schedule.shtml
Click BBC Local Radio Listen Live on the right hand side of the page.
I can’t seem to get any of the other BBC radio links to work (like BBC Radio Merseyside, Lancashire, etc) so this game is the best I can tell you about.

Indeed, come on you gunners!
I’m hoping the youth walk out on to the pitch with that arrogance of youth and beat Bolton playing the Arsenal game and not react to a bunch of bullies.

a fine serrated edge
One thing we know they won’t be worrying about is the cost of insuring their Daimler’s or Porsches.

Very true. And I’m sure the loss will be adjusted in their minds to appreciate the big picture: “its just a game”.
After all, losing shouldn’t affect their fashion lines. They’ve got past victories to allude to for that.
Ok, no more negative. Up the Arse!

Hey, I’m just pulling your chain here but wouldn’t a flat edge be sharper than a serrated one? You cut meat with a flat edge and bread with a serrated knife. All the knifes I carry on my body are flat edged and razor sharp. I leave the bread knife at home :)~ jk
I agree, it’s just a game so you might as well win it rather than loose, if it makes no difference.
I don’t mind the negative it’s the truth I hate - lol.
