…Should they stay or should they go, I feel that Wenger does not know!

This post is about next season so let’s ignore what may happen in the remainder of this one.

When I look at the Arsenal 1st team squad and try to put together a strong starting line-up it is alarming to me the depth of the problem we have, we have a drastic lack of …depth! The positions we are weak in are all over the field, I say weak by our past standards and thats who I’m judging us against. Right about now a bunch of you are probably saying “weak?, wer’e full of internationals!”. Alright then, here’s my weak list of players who I think should be on their way at the seasons end, who do you think should stay..and why?

Robin Van Persie deserves better!

Why isn’t Robin van Persie getting the respect he deserves? 10 goals this season and van Persie is yet to receive a automatic starting place in the side. He was fit enough to play against Everton FC but Arsene Wenger did not want to risk him getting e-injured. I can understand that, but in the Carling Cup a competition RVP has started every match, was put on the bench in favour of Dennis Bergkamp the man Wenger said will play a bit part role before the season started. Bergkamp a great player yes, but has only scored 2 goals this season. The Carling Cup Semi-Final against Wigan Athletic should have been a match that van Persie should of started, and if he had started Arsenal would prepare for a date with Manchester United in another Cup Final.

Negativity and haters

I have been reading and monitoring this site for a while now but never responded. I now feel it is time to add my two cents. What is up with all of the negative, downer s**** with you guys? At first glance I thought some Man Ure, Russian Mob, or f****** Spurs fans had infiltrated the ranks. Where is the support? Wake up, lay off the pipe, and actually think for a change. Sure we are struggling now, but what transition ever goes smoothly? So what if we sacrifice one or two years to finish 3rd or 4th with the payoff being a decade of dominance! Right now we are loaded with young developing talent. Add a frontline goalie, 1-2 mean & bulky midfielders , and hopefully Torres and we have the makings to be THE team to beat for several years. And who knows what moves may be in making? No matter the sport all great teams go through this phase, swithching from one generation to the next. Now it’s our turn. So stop whining like a bunch of b*tches and support OUR team! We are Gooners and we are proud, so stop running down the players whose jerseys you will all be wearing 3-4 years from now. Give them the support they deserve and they will deliver the silverware we all cherish, AND STOP THE HATING or go back to the cow pasture you call home!
