Attention all who’ll be at the match against Villa on Saturday. The club has asked for our help:
The 1st April has been designated David Rocastle Day. For those of you who have members coming to the Aston Villa match on that day, we are seeking volunteers to help with a bucket collection for the David Rocastle Trust.
The collectors have to be over 16 years of age and need to be at the Stadium by 1.30 pm. The collection will end in time for them to get to their seats to watch the match.
It is only possible for those with Match Tickets to assist as the match has sold out and there are no tickets available.
Bearing in mind how fondly David Rocastle is remembered at Arsenal by supporters, hopefully some of your members will be happy to volunteer to assist.
If any of your members can help, can you please e-mail Shadia Hameed and let her know how many can help and she will then make contact with you to finalise arrangements.”
Please, if you have the time before the match, please let me know, so I can get your info to Shadia. The club have been very helpful to us, working with Rick B to get us tickets to matches that would have otherwise been impossible to get. Let’s show them how much we appreciate it.
