If you’re coming over then you may be interested in this statement released by Arsenal after advice from Officer Dibble.

Pay special attention to the ‘STERILE ZONE’ if that ain’t American Manegement speak I don’t know what is. Rumours all around that The Who are the musical element as Roger Daltry has ticket in East Upper.

Security Measures
The Club would like to take this opportunity to explain the security issues surrounding our last match of the season which, as we all know, is our Final Salute to Highbury.

Roll of the dice, and the Arsenal crap out. A one - one draw actually flatters the Gunners a bit as Spurs really controlled the majority of the match.

It’s funny how players that three months ago were deemed ‘not ready for prime time’ - Cesc, Hleb - are now considered a must in the side. Cesc came on late, with Henry, and that saved the Arsenal from losing the last Spurs derby at Highbury.

Lots of good musings in the post below. I’ll give you a new discussion point:

Why don’t Arsenal take more shots at goal? I watch EPL highlights every week...

In case you haven’t been paying attention and are tuning in because this is just a derby match…. It’s not JUST a derby match! It’s a chance for the Gunners to seize their own destiny and overtake the scum for that final CL position. If not for having that spot for themselves, it’s for denying our North London rivals the joy of playing in the CL. Four points down, with a match in hand, the Gunners can win out the remainder of the season and control the fourth spot in the league; that quest starts now!

Spurs are not the joke we have come to expect over the...

Rather than wait until after the game for us to show how much better we all are at team selection than Wenger, I thought it would be more interesting to see what we could come up with in advance.

For a start, I think that, if fit and not suspended, the same players should be able to play 3 games in this week. There is no need to rest players with a schedule consisting of a home game on a Wednesday night, followed by another home game on the Saturday and ending with an away game in Spain. If the players can’t dig deep for these big games, they can’t consider themselves as professional...

One massive game down, and a positive result in the books. We all would have liked a 2 goal lead, but we didn’t let in an away goal, and we won.
GOOD RESULT.

Now, we have two big matches ahead. Which is more important? Who do you start Saturday and who rests? With the differing camps regarding the Team selection recently v. United and Portsmouth… NOW WHAT?

I think we have to play Saturday TO WIN at all costs. I can see a few players being changed. Reyes to start and play… Adebeyor (or RVP) to start and play… maybe even rest Eboue? Gilberto? or Cesc?...

Arsenal v Villareal photos from ArsenalAmerica president Michael Kavanagh. Mike is over this week to catch the Spurs game and managed to get a good view of last night’s victory, along with the infamous squirrel attack on the North Bank.

Important thing is we got a clean sheet.

And so happy to see Kolo was the scorer!! An unsung hero for us all season long who fully deserved this moment of glory!

How glad we are English football supporters. If they think the diving/play acting is bad in Premiership, it’s nothing compared to many other leagues outside of the Premiership. If u didn’t know, u would have thought the Gunners stepped onto the pitch carrying a machine gun, literally. Otherwise, why would so many Villarreal falling all over the pitch like they had just been shot???!!

The ref did...

Toure in the 41st gives the Arsenal a slight edge heading into next week. Another clean sheet in Europe.

Believe.

Who? Who amongst the regulars on this site (excluding the officers of ArsenalAmerica) do you think warrants a ticket to see Arsenal’s last match at Highbury. And no, you cannot nominate yourself. Let us know who you think makes this website more interesting and who had done a lot to help spread the word of Arsenal this season.

As is now my self-appointed tradition…i shall write a preview for this game just as I did before the Madrid and Juve first legs. Maybe it brings luck….it worked against them, why shouldn’t it work now?! :-)

So Villareal eh? In a nutshell the so-called yellow submarine are better than Real defensively but more creative than Juve…so they are a credible test.

Why they can win:
- They are unpredictable and cunning
- They have Riquelme

Why...
