Many people don’t like to talk about the commercial aspects of the game. Jose Antonio Reyes has been quoted by the Spanish press as saying that his Arsenal career is all but over. However, most reports indicate that no suitable bids have been made. In fact, the gaffer was quoted recently as saying, “It?s like you wanting to marry Miss World and she doesn?t want you. I can try to help you but if she does not want to marry you what can I do?”

As you’ll recall from my post of a few days ago, Arsenal America will be holding it’s second get together - this time in New York - the weekend of September 16th & 17th. Two of the three events we’re planning require signups; the 5-a-side @ Chelsea Piers on Saturday afternoon, and the Red Bull NY v Columbus Crew @ Giants Stadium on Saturday night.

Was wondering if there are other Gooners here in Phoenix, AZ. I can’t stand to watch an Arsenal game alone anymore so I would appreciate if there are any Gooners here in the desert if they would please not hesitate to contact me so we can watch the games together.
