Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

If you’ll recall the post from a few days ago featuring a letter from our friend Chris, aka “The Gaffer” from EPL Talk. Gaffer wrote to let us know about his amazing trip around England to take in the sites and sounds of football to share with us all.

Thanks to tickets he secured through Arsenal America, one of the matches Gaffer was able to attend was Arsenal...

Our good friend from “The 2Gs”, Gary “Gazza” Richards, has teamed up with Fox Soccer Channel’s Christian Miles and Arsenal.com’s Richard Clarke to present a new US-based Arsenal-themed radio show called “The Arsenal Hour”.

Featuring all the news from Ashburton Grove, interviews with players, and more (including a quick plug for Arsenal America from your’s truly), the first one hour special...

In the end it was the man who was the subject of my derision for most of the match, Emmanuel Eboue, who won the match for the Gunners, his 82nd minute goal proving the winner in a game that was much more difficult than it really should have been.

Robin van Persie’s 52nd minute strike leveled things for Arsenal after Van De Vaart’s 4th minute opener put Hamburg in the driver’s seat early.

A beautiful cross by Theo Walcott found the head of Julio Baptista for Arsenal’s third in...

Yep. The hamburgers are coming to town and this is definitely a game we have to win - since our other priority, the league is quietly slipping away. It will surely be a disaster for us to go down to the UEFA cup…and I am sure the Wenger and the boys know that.

Hello,

I’m writing to share some exciting news with you regarding Arsenal.

On Friday 11/17, I’ll be embarking on a trip from Florida to England to record the experience of what it’s like to watch Premiership matches in person. With daily podcasts and blogs, I’ll be capturing the excitement by of attending some major Premiership matches and a Champions League game. One of the highlights of my tour is the Arsenal v Hamburg match on Tuesday, November 21.

Here’s what Arsenal fans can expect:

* Blog updates recounting the experience at...

Long time since I wrote something, but Wenger forced me to by not using his players the right way and it is costing us a lot. I know, who am I to question the manager? But I will anyway.

There is a simple logic in having your players shoot with their strong leg during the match, it gives the players a lot of options to shoot or dribble, it makes sense.

When Rosicky got injured and Ljungberg was out, fans thought it would be Walcott’s chance to play on the left, where he can accelerate down the left or cut in and shoot from his right foot. He did it with England U21 team,...

For those in London this week, you can meet up with the ArsenalAmerica roadtrip crew before and after each game at a pub called ‘The Tavern’ on Blackstock Road near Gillepsie. We’ll be ‘in the back’ by the giant ArsenalAmeria banner, and most of our crew will be sitting in …. ummm… I wanted to say North Bank but I’m not sure what they call it now. Oops.

Anyway, the crew will be taking a tour of AG on Monday at 11:00, and some will be going to the Fulham reserve game on Wednesday.

We NEVER lose with Arsenal America in attendence… its just not done.
So I fully expect to see a victory over BOTH Newcastle tomorrow, and a win against Hamburgers in the CL. GET IT DONE ArsenalAmericans!

Newcastle.
What can you say. This team is in the relegation zone, and frankly, I don’t see why they should be… its not the talent level. They aren’t a top 5 team, but they should be playing a lot better than they are.
7 GOALS for… in 12 matches. Pathetic.

They’ve had some injuries… and Shearer is gone… but Duff and...

The way I see it 10 of the 11 starting spots in the team pretty much pick themselves:

Lehmann

Eboue
Clichy
Gallas
Toure

Hleb
Gilberto
Fabregas
Rosicky

Henry

There is one place up for grabs. Robin Van Persie is the current incumbent, playing on the left instead of through the middle but I think it’s fair to say that he hasn’t exactly been considered a great success in this role. With Freddie Ljungberg now fit, Julio Baptista not far away, Adebayor not long back, Aliadiere putting in great performances in the Milk...

Mathieu Flamini, Kolo Toure, and William Gallas are three unlikely goal-scorers as Arsenal put in an inspired performance at home to beat Liverpool 3-0.

Thierry Henry may not have scored today, but he played like a man possessed, getting back on defense, blocking shots, heading crosses out into touch, and more.

Robin van Persie had a chance early on to give the Gunners the lead within the opening moments, but was yellow-carded for an obvious hand ball as he tried to chip Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina.

Gael...
