Thanks to our friends at Danilo, we’ve got some 2007 Arsenal Wall Calendars as well as some 2007 Arsenal slim diaries to give away.
To win, just answer the following question:
Tuesday’s win over Watford continued a tradition of Arsenal victories on Boxing Day. In fact, the Gunners have only lost once on...

So for our last game of the year we travel to another relegation struggler in Sheffield. They are a robust like Watford in a way…so we should expect that sort of threat.

It has always been clear that our young team is very talented - but it has also been equally clear that their youth brings inconsistency which will only reduce with further experience. Basically, I want to give an upteemth analysis of our present team so that we can see where we really stand and maybe discuss possible January and summer arrivals - if any.

We are at exactly the halfway point of the season, and a quick analysis of the Gunners’ results against the rest of the league reveals our problem– we aren’t sufficiently up for it against the bottom half of the league… Arsenal have 16 points from 9 games against the top half of the league (1.8 points/game) and 17 points from 10 games (1.7 points/game) against the bottom half of the league… With 3 upcoming games (starting today) against those very same bottom-half teams, it should be clear that getting 3 wins from 3 matches is imperative, if we are to move up at...

Sorry this is late, but family obligations kept me away from a TV and net access until just now. I did however get to hear the last 18 minutes of the match via Sirius Satellite Radio. Just in time to hear how we were controlling the match, but getting nothing for our efforts.
But then, Robin van Persie saved the day for the second match in a row. His curling effort in the 82nd minute won it for the Gunners, moving Arsenal to third in the table on 36 points.
Next up is a trip to Sheffield to take on...

Another away game - this time at a relegation candidate. It might be tricky.
One thing is for sure. The defence needs to get back to the basics and cut out the silly mistakes - if they can do this we should be just fine.

After a nervous start which saw us go down early at home yet again, Gooners around the world were no doubt bracing themselves for another 1-1 draw. No one could have predicted at that point that when all was said and done, Arsenal would put six past Friedel, from five different players.
Gilberto opened the scoring for the Gunners - a header from a corner. (I know, I didn’t believe it at first either!)
Hleb scored Arsenal’s second, while Adebayor converted a penalty to make it 3-1 at the half.

I haven’t posted in a long time, but wanted to share an update about my Football Stadium Map site. I finally found a proper home for it, at footiemap.com. Many changes since the link was added to ArsenalAmerica. Notable changes are addition of Italy (levels 1-4), with Belgium, Brasil, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and more soon to come. Also added “photolog”, where you can add your own personal memories about the club/stadium and upload photos. Check it out and let me know what you think. Enjoy.
